Money Manager is a personal, self-hosted budgeting application operated by an individual for their own use. It is not a commercial service and has no other users.
With the operator's explicit consent, the application accesses account and transaction information for the operator's own bank accounts, via Enable Banking (an authorised Account Information Service Provider) under the Open Banking framework.
Account and transaction data is stored locally on the operator's own machine (a local database) and used solely to display balances, categorise spending, and track budgets. Data is not sold, shared, or transmitted to any third party.
Bank connections are provided by Enable Banking, whose own privacy policy and terms govern the processing of data in transit. The application holds no server-side copy of the data beyond the operator's local device.
Access is granted per Open Banking consent (typically up to 90 days) and can be revoked at any time via the bank. Locally stored data can be deleted by the operator by removing the local database file.
